Bowling

I was driving home today from running errands and I drove past Sayville Lanes. I thought it would be SO fun to take the kids bowling so I called Gavin who was at home with the kids and told him my idea. Everyone was so excited. We had a blast. Abby finally figured out how to roll the ball a little faster by throwing it and Braden was just a natural.

Thursday Project

Our ward is having a goods exchange. It's when you drop off stuff you don't need or want anymore and then everyone gets together and goes through and takes what they want. I came across this rocking chair and thought this would be fun to paint and put in my living room. I am going to try and sand it, paint it and seal it today. What a fun Thursday project.

Just thinking

Summer break is almost over. Next week Braden will be going into the first grade and Abby will be starting pre-Kindergarten. My house will be quiet. I'm in awe of how fast my kids are growing up. I am grateful everyday for them.

Sesame Place

Over the weekend we headed to Pennsylvania with the Bishop his wife and their three year old son. We had a great time. The kids enjoyed the rides and trying to find all of the characters. We got to see all of the shows that they put on there and Gavin and the Bishop even got to be in one of them. On Sunday we drove to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell and we took a tour of Independence Hall. It was a really fun weekend and it was so nice to get away.

It's here

It's finally here. Tomorrow we leave for Sesame Place. The kids are so excited. I will post pictures when we return. Everyone have a wonderful weekend. I know we will.

That's right no more training wheels. She did it all by herself. Way to go Abby.

I NEED

I seriously need a day off. A WHOLE day off. I need a day were I hear no fighting, no whinning, no "I'm hungry", I don't want to to hear the word MOM. I really need a day to myself. ALL TO MYSELF. I have so many projects that I would like to start but find it really hard with three kids right under me all of the time. They really are under me ALL OF THE TIME.

Is it possible to have a day to myself? I just need to be refreshed.

Our weekend

We had a fun weekend. The weather was gorgeous so we spent a lot of time outside.


Swimming
We moved Ellie's crib down.

We rode bikes.
We played hopscotch.
And more swimming.

Thank you Ellie for being such a good baby. You are so sweet and good natured. I love that you are so happy all of the time. I love you.

New Projects

While in Utah I worked on a few projects.

1- I made a purse.


2- A piece of wood some scrapbook paper and some modpodge and you get a fun piece of wall art.
