Pigtails

I've been waiting and waiting for this girls hair to get long enough and it finally is. Hooray for pigtails.

Ellie's words

Ellie is our little miss smarty pants. You tell her to do somethings like go put that away and she does it. She has a pretty large vocabulary for only being 14 months old. Here are some of her words:

She's 5!!!!!

That's right Abby turned 5 on Tuesday. We had a fun filled day. Treats at school, I took her to lunch, had friends over for pizza, ice cream and cake. What more could a 5 year old ask for. We love Abby. She is funny, loud, has lots of energy, and can be REALLY subborn. She definitely makes our house exciting.

Finally

The hair cut drama is finally over. Last week I took Abby to get her hair cut. It was time. It was long and straggly and she never liked to wear it back. So I took her to a place down the street and told them I wanted an A-line. They take her back cut her hair and send her out. Totally not what I wanted. It was like they did the A-line backwards. It was shorter in the front and longer in that back. I took her home and was not happy. So the next day I take her back and ask them to fix it. They take her back and cut her hair and send her back out. They just don't get it. They did the same hair cut as before but just shorter. So today I finally took her to the place that I get my hair cut at and they fixed it. No more hair drama. Hooray!!!!

Adorable

Thanks mom for making the girls such ADORABLE skirts. Abby couldn't wait to wear hers. She was asking all morning if it was time to put it on for church. I know the picture is crappy. Ellie had a fever and not feeling well and Abby was having a hard time getting Ellie to stand still. The whole picture process was crazy. I will get a better picture when everyone is feeling well. Thanks again mom. Best gift EVER!!!

Our week

What fun we have been having. Last weekend Gavin and I went to Arizona for four days with no kids. It was really nice to get away and have a little break from the kids. The weather was gorgeous and it was really fun to see our friends. A HUGE thanks to my mom for taking such good care of our three little munchkins. They sure do love their grandma.

The day after we came back we celebrated Braden's 7th birthday. WOW 7!!!! We took cupcakes to his class and then in the evening when Gavin got home we had a very yummy chocolate cake and ice cream.

Abby had a pre-k fun night on Friday night were they played ABC bingo and had an obstacle course. She had a lot fun.

We were sad to see grandma leave on Saturday morning. But I'm sure she is in need of some much needed rest. Thanks again grandma.

Monday morning we got a whole lot of snow. So much that the school's were closed.
